Nigel Hawkes
President and Founder of Hawkeye Traders and a retired Certified Trading Advisor, started trading in 1987 using methods based on Elliott, Gann, and other popular theorists. Nigel quickly understood the importance of volume in the markets. However, he also realized that standard volume, which is the basis of most "volume" indicators was not enough. Though others may claim to have invented "volume spread analysis", they have only tried to copy Nigel's original work (without success).
What makes Nigel so unique? He has studied volume for over 20 years and has the equivalent of a Ph. D in volume spread analysis and trading. He understands the markets like no other trader in the world and this is seen through his extraordinary ability to trade any market and any timeframe.
Most traders fail in their endeavor to become successful traders because:
- They do not understand standard volume or Volume Spread Analysis
- They do not understand how timeframes work
- They have no Trading Plan
- They overtrade
- They do not use Dynamic Stops
- They are owners of 1000s of indicators but master of none
- They are not mentally prepared
- They do not understand the difference between stops and profit taking
- They do not understand true charting or price actions

I am not one that is afraid to take a trade, so when I got home I immediately started working with the Hawkeye Indicators. I took a swing trade on the NZDUSD, a pair I don't normally trade, but the charts looked good. I was trading the 720 min chart vs. the 360 and when Roadkill kicked in I took the trade.
